BAXTER, Rita Ellen (nee Roy). Beloved wife of the late Felin Whipp Baxter. She went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 18 2021 at the age of 93. She was born April 5, 1927 in Casey County, KY. Loving mother of M. Regina (Larry) Price, Janet (Denny) Daniel and Lana (Dave) Bryant. Cherished granny of Glen (Trisha) Price, Marcy (Darin) Lachenman, Cheryl Hernandez, Eric (Myam) Daniel, Nikkie (Craig) Doll, Jeremy (Carin) Bryant and Evan Daniel. Devoted great-granny Kaylee and Garrett Price, Liam, Rhianna and Jude Hernandez, Ethan and Gracie Doll and Haley Daniel. Dear sister of Ghree Johnson of GA, Betty Rodgers and Carol Meece of KY. Also survived by a special niece Toni Hessling. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Mary (Clines) Roy, Children Jessie, Georgeanna, Bruce and Brian Baxter. Sister’s Treva Luttrell, Juanita Schierloh, Shirley Hall and brother Johnny Roy. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 10AM until Funeral Service at 11:30AM.
