Robert Albert Gellenbeck

Gellenbeck, Robert A. beloved husband of 62 years to Georgia P. (nee Murphy), loving father of Steve (Cathy), Greg (Louise), Neal (Mary Ann), Tim (Laurie), Susan (Bruce) Ericson and Amy (Mike) Cusack. Devoted grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 8. Bob graduated from St. Xavier High School, served his country during WWII, and then attended Xavier University. He succeeded his father in the insurance business founded in 1919, which is now under the leadership of his four sons. He held national and local leadership positions in his many years of dedicated service to the American Cancer Society and the YMCA. Bob passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the age of 89. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224 on Friday, December 18th from 5-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Avenue, 45224 on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:30 AM.
