GROTE, Robert B., beloved husband of 62 years of the late Kathryn "Kit" Grote, devoted father of Kathryn (Frank) Moss, Mary (Gary) Goetz, Jan (Gary) Poock, Tricia (Michael) Davis, Thomas (Barbara) and Robert W. Grote, loving grandfather of Jonathan, Andrew, Kevin, Laura, Stephanie, Adam and Brian, great-grandfather of Adelina, Emma, Bennett, Nolan, Eli and Zaya, brother of the late Harry and Helen, also survived by his beloved cat Lacey. Bob was a retired engineer from C.G. & E. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all. Passed away Tuesday February 7, 2017 at age 96. Friends may call at Little Flower Church, 5560 Kirby Rd., Mt. Airy, Friday February 10 from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Save the Animals Foundation (STAF.org).
