EVANS, Robert E. "Bob," age 101, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife Alma (nee Leppert) of 72 years and daughter Barbara (Sam) Carlsson. Also father of Joan (the late David) Clippinger and Carolynn Pete (Tom) Wanner. Granddaddy Bob to Rebecca (Thoai Nguyent) Wanner, Amy (Chris) Jeansonne and Laura Wanner. Great Granddaddy Bob to Joaquin and Lucien. A retired P&G'er, Bob was known for his love of tennis and commitment to the game through volunteer work at Hyde Park Tennis Club and The Indoor. An avid reader, a Depression Era survivor, hunter, fisherman and golfer, he made many friends up to the week he died and was never happier than when he could help someone. Visitation at Little Flower Church 5560 Kirby Rd., Mt. Airy Saturday September 19, from 9 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.
