MAERTZ, Robert E.L. Sr., beloved husband of the late M. Fay Maertz (nee Smallwood) for 50 years. Loving father of Robert E.L. (Diane) Maertz Jr., Michael (Sharon) Maertz Sr., Pamela (Dennis) Wesselman, Jon Gregory Maertz, David Scott (Lisa) Maertz, Melissa (Dave) Fields, and Dena (Mike) Boehner. Dear grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 8. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the age of 82. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42), West Chester, Saturday, November 15 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association and to Hospice of Cincinnati.
