Reed, Robert G. passed away peacefully on June 25, 2017, at the age of 54. Bob was kind, generous and a gentle giant of a man. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His favorite role was Papa to his grandson, Bryce. Bob married Becky Ledford Reed in the Cayman Islands which became their favorite vacation spot. Bob is also survived by his four children Kristin (Tyler Young), Nathan, Sydney and Taylor; his best buddy/grandson, Bryce; siblings Pat (Dean) Vonderheide, Jan (Jim) Kuehne, Nancy (Bill) Gable and Ron (Debbie) Reed; the mother of his children Michelle Reed; many nieces, nephews and the rest of his family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Rita and George Reed and infant brother. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and physicians of the Jewish Hospital Blood Cancer Center, OHC Kenwood and OHC Blue Ash for their tremendous care and support for both Bob and his family. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, Saturday at 10:30am. Following the services, please join us for a Celebration of Life Party at Voice of America Park Lakeside Room beginning at 12:00. Please dress in your favorite casual beach attire. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Shriners Hospital for Children or charity of your choice. Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com
