Robert James Minor

Robert James Minor Age 68, of Mason and Lake Waynoka OH, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was born September 9, 1941 in Attleboro, MA, the son of Robert R Minor and Madeline Flynn Minor. Robert attended Attleboro City Schools and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. On January 21, 1961 he married Judith Anne Gracie. Robert worked as an engineer for the Foxboro Co for over 35 years, retiring in 2007. Robert is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judith Anne Minor; son, Michael Minor and wife, Lisa and four grandchildren, Eric, William, Alex and Zoey of Arlington TX; daughter Rhonda Pitkin and husband Doug and two grandchildren, Doug and Emily of Lake Waynoka OH; and daughter Robin Minor-Chamberlain and Roger Chamberlain and three grandchildren Joshua, Brian, and Darin and one great grandchild Evelyn . Bob’s life centered on his love for God, his family and World Missions. Affectionately known as “Papa”, his wisdom and passion for being God’s servant and desire for building God’s kingdom will be greatly missed yet we rejoice in knowing he is home with his Lord and Savior. Friends may call at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH 45069, Sunday February 14 visitation beginning at 5:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Bob Mahaffey, Pastor Richard E. Pride II and Pastor Leslie (Gene) Goodwin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Church of the Nazarene, Work & Witness for Peru.
