Robert R. O'Connell

O'CONNELL, Robert R. Loving brother of Joanne O'Connell Bunning and the late John and James O'Connell. Brother-in-law of Amyra O'Connell. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Bob was a graduate of Walnut Hills H.S. Bob was an accountant for much of his life and loved to dance at Moonlight Gardens and was active in bebop clubs over the years. Sunlight Pool was his summer fun place. Bob was a clerk and medic in the army in WW II. He was active in his VFW Hall which provided Christmas gifts to needy children. He stayed in touch and organized reunions for many years for his old army buddies. He loved to garden and take care of the landscaping at his parish. Passed away May 4, 2016 at age 93. Visitation at the Church of the St.Therese Little Flower, 5560 Kirby Ave., Mt. Airy, 45239, Monday May 9, 2016 from 9 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.
