Robert Schnetzer

Robert “Robbie” Allen Schnetzer passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 55. Robert was born on October 19, 1960 to Theodore G. and Virginia (Reilly) Schnetzer He was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters. He was raised in Mt. Healthy and graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1979. Robert was a longtime employee of Kroger, first starting at their meat packing plant and then moving into their stores as head meat cutter. He worked with the company for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, Thomas S. Schnetzer. Robert is survived by his siblings, Theodore B. (the late Barbara) Schnetzer, Diana S. (the late Robert) Broering, James E. (Maureen) Schnetzer, Cynthia L. (Larry) Nelsen, Deborah A. (Greg) Goldschmidt, and Kathy L. (Mark) Onady, his daughters Cheyenne R. Schnetzer and Sunny R. Hough, his adored granddaughter, NiJole Stardust Mitchell, and loving friends and past partners Christina Schnetzer and Karen Harvey.

Robert loved music and playing guitar, as well as reading and learning about history and being outdoors. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH 45069, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
