HARDEN, Robert T., of Cincinnati, OH and Milwaukee, WI, died February 12, 2018 at the age of 94. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Genevieve (Bachhuber) Harden, by his son Thomas M. Harden and wife Sylvia Mihich of Lexington, MA, daughter Judy Wood and husband Daniel Mader of Cincinnati, son Joseph G. Harden and wife Diane Harden of Garland, Texas, and son John R. Harden and wife Susan Harden of Rocklin, CA; by 7 grandchildren, Cara Zestermann, Stephanie Osborne, Jennifer Hendricks, Robert J. (R.J.) Harden, Sara Mihich Harden, Ashley Maddalena, and Jaye Mihich Harden; by 8 great-grandchildren; by his sister-in-law Marie Bachhuber, and by a niece and six nephews. He grew up in Milwaukee, served in World War II in the Army Air Force in Europe, played minor league baseball for the Lima Terriers of the Ohio State League and Eau Claire Bears of the Northern League in 1946-7, and retired after 34 years with Chase Metals in Milwaukee, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. He was a member of St. Bartholomew’s parish in Finneytown, a former Meals-on-Wheels volunteer, and played golf in the Senior League at Winton Woods until 2016. His family remembers him for the twinkle in his eye, his wit and humor, and his commitment to and the love for his family and for his country. Visitation at Twin Towers Senior Living Community Wilson Chapel on Friday, March, 2nd from 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m; burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery to follow.
