Robert Taylor, Jr.

TAYLOR, Robert, Jr., 92, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife Verna (nee Ruscher), children Cheryl (Edward) Theiss, Michael (Penny), Scott (Kim) and Brian (Erin) Taylor, grandchildren Dan and Jon Theiss, Vernon, Aaron, Brian, Rachael, Brandon and Kelly Taylor and 4 great-grandchildren. Robert was the brother of Lois Hayden and the late Don Taylor. Robert was a survivor of the sunken aircraft carrier USS Block Island in WWII, was an avid boater and was active in the Cincinnati Division of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. After many years of service with Cincinnati Milacron, he retired in 1982. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
