Roger TJ Yee

Roger TJ Yee beloved husband of Sandra (Sandy) D. Yee (nearly 58 years) loving father of Rodney (Tonya), Kim Eads (Greg), Chris, & Jay (Jenny) dear grandfather of Jeremiah, Emerald, Ava, Sophia, Madalynn, Jacob, Cameron, Justin, Caleb, Brayden & Haley passed away peacefully Monday, August 26, 2024 and moved to Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie & Esther Yee and was a caring brother of Barbara (Yee) Hormann & Ernie Yee

Roger is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Roger graduated from the University of Cincinnati and retired from Procter & Gamble Company after working 36 years as a chemist. He was a coach of many sports for all of his children. He umpired, refereed and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals season ticket holder since 1968. He attended Super Bowl LVI in 2022! Roger loved his family immensely and they meant the world to him. During his 23 year retirement, Roger enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife making it to many beaches and taking many cruises. Of course, he always enjoyed traveling to visit his kids and grandchildren in California, Tennessee and Indiana. His most recent trip to Tennessee this past spring was to celebrate the first family wedding for his oldest granddaughter Madalynn. He danced the night away and had the time of his life! Roger loved his puppy dogs over the years, most recently Abby & Phoebe. 

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of DaVita of West Chester for their care of Roger during his time with them. 

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 8 AM until time of service at 9 AM. Procession will follow to Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231 and then family will welcome friends to join them for reception at the Liberty Grand Clubhouse, 6910 Hamilton Mason Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45069.
