Rollin Peele

Rollin Peele, 90, from West Chester, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Greensburg, Indiana. Rollin was born July 29, 1928 in Decatur County, the son of Charles and Clara (Miller) Peele. He was a Graduate of Clarksburg High School. Rollin served from 1949 to 1951 in the US Army. He worked on the railroad after his time in the Army. Then later retired from the Carpenters Union. He is survived by several step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Ruth (Gillespie) Peele; parents, sisters, Virginia Ryle and Norma Woods; and brothers, Charles, Norman, Richard, Arthur, and Warren Peele. A graveside service will take place at West Chester Twp. Cemetery, 6425 West Chester Rd., West Chester, Tuesday July 30^th at 3PM. Those that wish to attend please meet inside the cemetery gate at 2:45PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Decatur County Animal Shelter.
