Ronald John Ingle

September 7, 1943 — February 16, 2025

Ronald (Ron) born September 7, 1943, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Darlene (nee Coffey). Loving father of Robbin (Jim) Jaeger, Heather (Craig) Wullenweber, and Chad (Renee) Ingle. Dear grandfather of Carley (Mike) Ford, Ben Jaeger, Grady Wullenweber, Griffin Wullenweber, and Austin Ingle. Dear great grandfather of Lilly, Ella, Ava, and Zoe Ford. Cherished son of the Late Howard and Margaret Ingle. Brother of the late Linda (surviving Ted) Teixeira. Uncle of Blair Telford. Also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Ron’s legacy as a kind, gentle, and loving husband, father, and grandfather, showed in the passion he had for his family. Ron’s first love was always his family, where he spent much of his time enjoying being surrounded by those who meant the most to him. He always had an infectious smile and laugh for his family that lit up the room. He led by example, showing his family that listening is sometimes better than speaking, and his kindness, patience, advice, and support were always cherished by his family and friends. Ron loved to laugh and portrayed that humor with happiness that was contagious to all that knew him.

After High School, Ron enlisted in the Navy and was on the Navy Destroyer USS Stormes. He traveled much of the Caribbean and was aboard the USS Stormes during the Cuban blockade and missile crisis.

After his return from Navy military service, Ron married the love of his life, Darlene and in 1964, together they began their journey in raising their children. Ron spent much of his career in the freight industry enjoying over 35 years and developing many friendships along the way. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 100.

Ron spent his free time playing golf and was an accomplished golfer. When time allowed, Ron also enjoyed watching classic movies, and listening to Jazz and Big Band music.

As Ron’s health declined in the last few years, his positivity and smile and laughter never stopped. Ron will always be cherished, and his memory will live on by the examples he set forth for all that knew him, living life to the fullest!
