TURVEY, Ronald Lee

Beloved husband of Connie Turvey (nee Woodward). Loving father of Andrea (Shaun) Shanklin and Aaron (Joellen) Turvey. Committed grandfather of Braeden Shanklin, McKenzee Shanklin, Kyla Turvey, and Jillian Turvey. Brother of Tom (Carole) Turvey and Jeannie (Albert) Gilbert. Predeceased by parents, Lloyd and Zula Turvey, and brother, Ed Turvey. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends. Ron spent 31 years as a UPS driver before transitioning to a second career in real estate for the past 17 years. He was very involved in his church, Springdale Nazarene Church, particularly in the softball program, where he loved investing in others as a coach leading them on and off the field to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Ron passed away October 13, 2021. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 4 PM until 7 PM at Springdale Nazarene Church, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246. As a tribute to Ron’s love of athletics, particularly the Ohio State Buckeyes, we ask that you honor him by wearing athletic apparel for the visitation service. Funeral Service will be held at the church the following day, Monday, October 18, 2021, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ron’s name to the softball program at Springdale Nazarene Church. This can be done on their website or by mail to the address above.
