Rondal L. Poynter

Rondal L. Poynter, 82, Liberty Twp, OH, was called home to be with Jesus peacefully Friday evening February 8, 2019. Born September 21, 1936 in Corbin, Kentucky to parents Charles Aubrey Poynter and Elen Susong. Moved to Cincinnati as a child and remained in the area the remainder of his life.

Survived by the Love of his Life, Loretta, having recently celebrated 65 years together. Also, left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Janie (Jeff) McElwain and Ronda Lacher, Four grandsons, Jeremy (Kayleigh) Mcelwain, Joshua (Madeleine) McElwain, Kyle (Kassie) Lacher and Sgt. Jacob Lacher, USMC, and two great grandkids, Rhys and Quinn. He also leaves a host of cousins, nieces ,nephews and friends.Preceded in death by their beloved son, Ricky Darell and his parents.Ron was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcat men’s basketball as well as the Cincinnati Reds.He was know by those who loved him to “give the best hugs”.

Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., Monday February 11th from 1pm until Funeral Service at 2pm.
