Rose Marie Gerke

GERKE, Rose Marie "Tootie" (nee Sturm), beloved wife for 60 years of Paul Edward Gerke. Mother of Cathy (Mark) Goddard, John (Colleen) Gerke, Sue (Matt) Westrich, Peggy (Rob) Combs and Rob (Janine) Gerke.  Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Sister of Carol Bien and the late Bill and Robert Sturm, and Mary Jane Scherpenberg.  Tootie was a devoted wife and mother and an active member of St. Clement Church.  Passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at age 81.  Visitation to be held at St. Clement Church, 4536  Vine St., St. Bernard, OH, Sunday, January 22 from 3 PM until Mass of Christian Burial at 5PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Tender Mercies, 27 W. 12th St., Cincinnati, OH 45202, where Rose and Paul volunteered for many years.
