Rosemary M. Douglas (Campbell) passed away peacefully December 4, 2017, surrounded by family after a long illness. Predeceased by her husband David in 2015, she is survived by her sons Neil and Ian (Kathryn), grand dogs Bella (Neil), Lucy and Lila (Ian & Kathryn). She has four brothers, Duncan, Brian, Jim, and Neil, as well as a large extended family still in Scotland.
Born in Hamilton, Scotland Rosemary graduated from the Glasgow School of Domestic Science. Marrying her husband David in 1966, they then moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1968 where David began his career at General Electric. She had a long career as a pattern maker for the Shapely Company and later on at the Cintas Corporation.
Rosemary began knitting at the age of 4 and it was lifelong joy and passion for her. Most recently sharing that joy with a knitting group at the Cancer Support Community in Blue Ash, OH. She also greatly enjoyed reading, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed playing bridge.
She was loved and cherished by many and will be missed dearly.
