Russell Barney Owens Jr. beloved husband of 54 years to Obta “Bea” Owens (nee Harrington). Loving father of Randy (Kelly) Owens, Stan (Ann) Owens and Bonnie Owens. Caring grandfather of Rebecca, Logan, Cassidy (Nat), Ace, Star and Roc Owens. Great-grandfather of Elliot Miles Hauck. Brother of Glenda Owens. Preceded in death by his parents Russell and Lucy “sis” Owens. Passed away February 20, 2019 at the age of 75. He was an evangelist for the Church of Christ for 57 years. He was also a school bus driver for the Lakota School District for 33 years. Visitation will be held Sunday, February, 24, 2019 at Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
