Sandra J. Kenny

August 27, 1962 — July 20, 2016

KENNY, Sandra J. (nee Ballard), beloved wife of Joseph W. Kenny and devoted mother of James D. Kenny, daughter of Freeman L. and the late Barbara E. Ballard, Sister of Dr. Ronnie L. Ballard passed away on July 20, 2016 at age 53.

Sandra, known as Sandy, lived a life that was full of love for others and a love for Christ. She spent years as a private school teacher at both Landmark and Middletown Christian Schools, and as an organizer and leader of various booster organizations and ministries, in particular at Camp Chautauqua. She was a faithful member of Gospel Cincinnati church and made an impact on the lives of people there. Sandy was the type of person that put others ahead of herself. She spent years serving and caring for others in every area of her life. She loved to travel with her family and with friends as well, making countless memories during those trips. Sandy had a very close relationship with her family and with friends that she made over the course of her life. Her impact cannot be overstated and the loss of her presence in this world will be felt for years to come. She has left this world behind to be with her Savior, where we look forward to seeing her again one day.

Visitation will be held Sunday July 24, 2016 from 2-5pm at Gospel Cincinnati, 9248 Princeton-Glendale Rd. West Chester, Ohio 45011. Funeral service will be held the following day, Monday July 25th, 2016 at 10 am (doors will open at 9 am) at Gospel Cincinnati. Procession and burial will immediately follow at Crown Hill Memorial Cemetery, 11825 Pippin Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, who provided tender care and comfort these past number of months, or Gospel Cincinnati, whose members went above and beyond by showing her love and seeing to the needs of her family.
