Sandra K. Simon

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Sandra Kay Simon on May 18, 2024 at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. She was born on August 22,1952 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Joe and Laura Bell Miller. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mathew and Julie Simon of West Chester, Ohio; son Paul Timothy Simon II of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Taylor Rawlins, Alexia Flores, Nathan Simon, Kaitlin Simon, and Tyler Simon; and great grandson Samual Rawlins. She was preceded in death by her long time loving partner James Meadows.

Sandy was known for her generous spirit willing to give all she had for the benefit of her children and grandchildren. She was also a regular giver to multiple charities. People that knew her also knew of her love of animals, especially horses. It was a blessing that she got to live her retirement years on a farm with Jim, taking care of her horse, Jake. She was also known for giving way too many treats to her adoring grand dogs. Her love and generosity will leave a lasting impact on the family and friends  she leaves behind.

A Celebration of life to honor Sandra will take place on Saturday June 8, 2024 from 11 am until the time of funeral service beginning at 12 noon, at Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester, OH 45069.
