Scott was a bright and compassionate soul. He was a loyal and loving friend to everyone, with an infectious smile, a kind heart, and unwavering optimism for life. Scott David Crowder, 29, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 24, 2025.
Scott was born on October 2, 1995, in Detroit, Michigan, to Thomas W. Crowder and Diane (Curtis) Crowder. He attended Lakota East High School before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, Scott began his career at Kroger and later worked for Mars PetCare.
Scott and his older brother, Kevin, shared a strong bond. They were passionate about video games and could debate and discuss anything and everything for hours on end. Rachel Bagley was the love of his life. Throughout the years they spent together, they shared many hopes and dreams. They were always surrounded by a close-knit group of friends who embraced their adventures and zest for life.
Scott had a love for all the forest animals living behind his home. He also had a particularly special place in his heart for his cat, Floof, who refused to warm up to anyone except him.
Scott was deeply passionate about music. His dream was to support, promote, and transform the Cincinnati music scene - one gig at a time. The inclusive musical experiences created by Scott and his team of friends welcomed everyone who shared their love for music and fellowship. Peace, love, unity, and respect served as the central tenets of his mission.
In his own unique and unforgettable way, Scott was a kaleidoscope of brilliance, humor, and compassion. His ability to weave joy and meaning into the lives of others was a gift that will be deeply missed and eternally cherished.
Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas W. Crowder Sr. He is survived by his father, Thomas W. Crowder; mother, Diane (Curtis) Crowder; brother, Kevin Crowder; maternal grandfather, David L. Curtis; maternal grandmother, Ronni (Downing) Curtis; paternal grandmother Phyllis (Hoggatt) Crowder; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
