Scott John McCormick, 56, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of State College, PA, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018.
Scott was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 26, 1962, the son of the Jean (née Krieger) McCormick of Alpharetta, GA, and the late Robert McCormick. He is survived by his wife, Robin Aldridge McCormick of Cincinnati, OH. They were married on September 8, 2001, at Zion Lutheran Church, Boalsburg, PA. He is also survived by son Brendan, age 15; daughter Grace, age 12; sister Nancy (Dave) Bauer of Duluth, GA.; and sister Maureen (Richard) Anderson of Alpharetta, GA.
He was beloved by extended family and many friends.
He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. Throughout the years, Scott was an active volunteer at his community churches, in his children’s schools, and served on the Boy Scout Leadership Council for Troop 942.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Bethany United Methodist Church, 6388 Cincinnati Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Ohio.
