BASTON, Sharon L. (nee McLaughlin). Beloved wife of Jerry Baston for 51 years. Dear mother of Terri (Roger) McCoy and Lori (Mike) Collier. Grandmother of Cecily and Morgan Collier, Cullin, Brennan and Aidan McCoy. Sister of Ginny Striley, Irene “Reenie” Fritz and Birdie Black. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at the age of 70. Sharon was a member of Fleming Rd. United Church of Christ. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Monday from 10 a.m. until service at 12 noon. Memorials may be direced to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1905, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Dr., Triangle, VA 22172, or charity of donor’s choice.
