Sharon Ruth Stormer

March 20, 1958 — February 15, 2023

Liberty Twp.

Sharon Garvey Stormer, 64, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away on February 15, 2023,  She was the very loving wife of Thomas Stormer, Sr. for 12 years.  She passed peacefully to heaven in her sleep after a 4 year valiant, heroic battle against brain cancer and strokes.  She was born on March 20, 1958 to James and Janet Garvey in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas; two daughters, Miranda Muir (husband Cullen) and Mackenzie Willson; three step-children:  Melissa Stormer, Meaghan Castellano and Thomas Stormer, Jr. sister Lynne Francis (husband Bruce) and brother Gary Garvey (wife Peggy), two nieces, two nephews and seven step-grandchildren.

Sharon grew up in Deer Park, Ohio and graduated from Deer Park High School including a year at Diamond Oaks.  She worked at U.S Shoe Company and McAlpins in the Human Resource Office for a number of years.  At the age of 37 she returned to college at Cincinnnati State Technical and Community College and attained a degree in Respiratory Therapy.  She worked as a Clinical Respiratory Therapist at Ft. Hamilton Hospital and Middletown General Hospital for 13 years before taking early retirement to be with her husband, Thomas, who had retired.

Sharon enjoyed crafts of every type and cooking for friends and family.  She was extremely good at both of these.  She also very much enjoyed travelling with her husband, especially out west.  They drove the entire Route 66,  all of Route 1 Pacific Coast Highway, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Gand Canyon and Black Hills Parks, Las Vegas, Niagra Falls and Hawaii just to name a few.

Sharon was  a truly memorable person that no one ever forgot.  She was extremely generous, sensitive, likeable and caring.  No person can be perfect but Sharon came very close.  She was an Angel on earth now she is an Angel in Heaven.
