Shirley D. Howland

Shirley D. (Nee Derteen) passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on December 27th, 2014. Beloved wife of Walter C. Howland for 66 years. Loving mother of Clark (Patricia), John and Bruce (Diana). Proud grandmother of Dan, Tom, Jessica and Chris. Shirley was a longtime resident of Finneytown. She was a registered nurse at Christ Hospital and later became an instructor at The Christ Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed golf as a member of Clovernook Country Club and East Lake Woodlands Club in Oldsmar, FL. She and Walter traveled to a dozen countries in Western Europe, Hong Kong and China.
