Shirley Mae McGeorge Witt, “The Least One” was born October 14, 1937 in Gray Hawk Jackson Co., Kentucky, being a lamb of God with her profession of faith in Jesus Christ, serving as a member of Mission Baptist Church would depart this earthly life July 15, 2010 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co. Ohio at the age of 72. Shirley was the daughter of the late Robert and Martha Hunter McGeorge. She was preceded in death to be reunited with three brothers; Charles Wallace McGeorge, Howard McGeorge, Billy McGeorge, one sister; Bonnie Jean Bales and one grandson; Christopher Robert Witt. Shirley was wedded wife and faithful companion in Christ of Rev. Allen Julion Witt for fifty-four years whom she is survived. Shirley is also survived in memory by one brother; Bruce Edward McGeorge, two sisters; Bernice Neeley, Mary Gladys Keller, two sons; Jerry Allen Witt, Jeffery Dean Witt, three grandsons; Eric Allen Witt, Ian Trevor Witt, Jared Julian Witt, one great-grandson; Montgomery Allen Witt and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42), West Chester, Sunday, July 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home Monday, July 19, 10 a.m. with Dr. Bill Rains officiating. Interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. “God’s really going to enjoy your cooking grandma.”
