Wood, Shirley “Woody”, beloved husband of the late Jo Ann Wood (nee Doubman), loving father of Cynthia Miller and Patricia (Gerald) Gabbard, devoted grandfather of Jennifer (Matt) Dameron, Sara (Brian) Valasek, Rachel and Jared Gabbard. Great grandfather of Lainey, Cooper and Carter Dameron. Brother of Joy Anna Joy. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his granddaughter Caitlin Gabbard, siblings Jessie Wood, Madonna Bowling and Harvie Wood. Woody worked for many years at Cincinnati Electronics. He loved life and Bluegrass music. Passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the age of 81. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. West Chester, OH 45069 from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at Oak Hill Cemetery 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246
