Sister Carol A. Holzschuh, RSM

Sister Carol Ann Holzschuh (former Sister del Rey) sister of the Sisters of Mercy for 72 years.  Daughter of Albert Holzschuh and Catherine Jaisle.  passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 90.  Preceded in death by Fred Holzschuh.  Survived by Albert and Robert Holzschuh, Mary Seelenbinder and Terri Tierney.

Sister Carol Ann was born in Cincinnati, attended Mother of Mercy High School.  She entered the Sisters of Mercy on September 8, 1950.  She earned her nursing degree from Mercy Hospital, Hamilton.  She served in Mercy hospitals in Hamilton, Coldwater, Tiffin, and Owensboro, and in Cincinnati at Mercy hospitals in Mariemont  and Anderson.

Visitation will be held at McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Ave., 45224 from 4:00-6:00 on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.  Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at 6:15.  Burial,  Thursday, February 9 at St. Joseph (new) Cemetery.  Meet there at 10:00.  Memorials may be directed to the Sisters of Mercy, McAuley Convent; 1768 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, 45224
