RATERMAN, Sr. Ann Regina Raterman, SFP (nee Margaret Mary), passed to eternal life on December 11, 2015, at age 77. She lived a life dedicated to God for 58 years as a Franciscan Sister of the Poor. During those years she served the poor in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton, OH; Jamaica, NY; Quincy, IL; Kansas City, KS; Jersey City, NJ; and Rome, Italy. She is survived by her Sisters in Christ, the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, and her sister Ruth Westerfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret (Aull) and Theodore H. Raterman, and brother Gerard P. Raterman. Visitation at St. Clare Peace Center, 80 Compton Rd., Hartwell, on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 9:30 a.m. until Liturgy of Christian Burial in the convent chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the convent cemetery follows the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Foundation, Inc., 708 Third Ave., Suite 1920, New York, NY 10017.
