CHALK, Sr. Coletta Margaret, SFP our beloved Sister, passed to eternal life on July 8, at age of 92. She lived a life dedicated to God and God's people for 62 years as a Franciscan Sister of the Poor. During those years, she served the suffering, poor and marginalized in Cincinnati, Columbus, Batesville and Kansas City as a nurse. In her later years, she ministered in social outreach and in the apostolate of prayer and healing presence. She is survived by her Sisters in Christ, the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, and her brother Joseph Chalk and sister-in-law Peggy, along with many caring nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlotte E. (Stoeckle) and William R. Chalk and her siblings Ralph, Vincent, Mary Rose, Miriam and Mercedes. Visitation at St. Clare Peace Center, 80 Compton Rd., Hartwell on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Clare Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the St. Clare Cemetery will follow the Liturgy.
