Sr. Elizabeth Mast

MAST, Sr. Elizabeth C.. Entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the age of 89. Sister entered the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor in 1940 through knowing the Sisters at the former St. Mary’s Hospital in Quincy, IL. She made final profession on Sept. 8, 1947. Sister worked in the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor hospitals in the Business or Purchasing Office – mainly in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. She was Provincial Bursar for St. Anthony Province from 1960 to 1966 in Warwick, NY. Sister was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and August Mast. Sister of Alta Hildebrand, Rita (Paul) Blickhan, Mary Jo (Bob) Holtschlag, the late Richard, Carl, Virgil and Norbert Mast and Irene Klauser. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2012, at the St. Clare Convent Chapel from 4 p.m. until time of Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at the Convent Chapel. Services and burial will also take place in Quincy, Illinois.
