KLOSTERMAN, Sr. Maria, SFP, passed to eternal life on March 9, 2015, at age 75. She lived a life devoted to God for 57 years as a Franciscan Sister of the Poor. During those years she served the poor as a dedicated nurse at Catholic hospitals in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Covington, among others. In addition she initiated FAITH Services, a pioneer outreach to persons with AIDS. She served in leadership as Congregational Councilor. She is survived by her Sisters in Christ, the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, and brothers Earl, Vic, Luke, Gary, and Tom, and sisters Judy Rentz and Connie Vail. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvina (Ranly) and Walter Klosterman, and brothers Mark and Bob. Visitation at St. Clare Convent Peace Center, 80 Compton Rd., Hartwell, Friday, March 13, from 4-7 p.m., with rosary service at 7 p.m. in St. Clare Chapel. Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Clare Convent Chapel on Saturday, March 14, 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Convent Cemetery follows Mass.
