Sr. Mary David Mulroy

MULROY, Sr. Mary David, SFP (nee Patricia Ann), passed to eternal life on September 24, 2015, at age 90. She lived a life dedicated to God for 72 years as a Franciscan Sister of the Poor. During those years she served the poor as a nurse in hospitals in Cincinnati, Columbus, Kansas City, KS, and Quincy, IL, as well as more than 24 years in Brazil as a missionary. She is survived by her Sisters in Christ, the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, and brother Eugene (Rose) Mulroy. She was preceded in death by her parents Helen (Grein) and David Mulroy, brothers Donald and Rev. Brice Mulroy, OFM, and sisters Lorraine Doan and Ruth Kessler. Visitation at St. Clare Convent Chapel, 60 Compton Rd., Hartwell, on Tuesday, September 29, from 9:30 a.m. until Liturgy of Christian Burial in the convent chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the convent cemetery follows the Mass.
