Stanford Thornton

Thornton, Stanford L., Beloved husband of Lois W. Thornton (nee Evans). Loving son of the late Claude Lee and Bessie Thornton. Brother of Louise (Carl) Brown and the late Thelma (Waldon) Miller, Evelyn (Edward) Spangler and Clarence “Pete” (Barbara) Thornton. Uncle and special friend of Kenneth Miller. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Stanford was a Corporal in the United States Army and a veteran of the Korean War. Passed away July 29, 2012 at the age of 83. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Funeral services will take place Friday in Peterstown, WV.
