Reverend Stephen Earl Grooms, 55, of Liberty Township, died January 22, 2025, after a short stay in Hospice Care of Hamilton. He was born December 2, 1969, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Norman Grooms and Wanda Grooms. On September 2, 1995, he married the love of his life, Natalie (Hill) Grooms. They have 3 daughters, Allie, Lizzie, and Bella Grooms, who were dearly loved by him. He also has a sister, Tonya Jenks (Dave), and 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his dad, Norman Grooms. Steve was the pastor of Monroe Church of the Nazarene for the past 16 1/2 years, and prior to that served in various states and positions in different churches. He had a heart for lost souls, children and youth ministries, and outreach! He will be remembered for his love for Jesus, his deep care and concern for his family, friends and church members; and his awesome humor! 

Visitation will be held at Monroe Church of the Nazarene, 400 Macready Ave, Monroe, OH 45050, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5-8 PM. His funeral service will be held at Monroe Church of the Nazarene, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, Ohio.
