Susie Mae Owens

Susie Mae Owens, age 84 resident of Sycamore Township passed away on January 25, 2021. She was born to the late Elijah and Viola Smallwood (nee Hamblin) on October 21, 1936 in Union Township, Ohio. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Fred Owens. Susie was a devoted mother of five, Fred Jr. (Martha) Owens, Mark (Pat) Owens, Tony (Julie) Owens, Diana (Terry) Kempf, and Kathy Owens. Sister of Mary (Tom) Keller, Laura Ramsey, Bill Smallwood and the late Sally Birbeck. Dear grandmother of Jason, Christie, Stephen (Hali) Owens, Kelsey (Myles) Loeper, and Madison Owens. Great-grandmother of Layla and Remington Owens. Also survived by many In-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19, a graveside service will be held at noon (12:00pm) at West Chester Cemetery, 6425 West Chester Road, West Chester, OH 45069, Friday, January 29, 2021. The family asks that the recommended guidelines of social distancing and facial masks be observed.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name directly to one or both of these organization, SPCA or Hospice of Cincinnati.
A celebration of Susie’s life will be planned at a later date.
