Sylvia Rahe

Sylvia A. (nee Schmidt). Beloved wife of the late Cletus Bien and Robert Rahe. Loving mother of Barry (Carol), Tim, Ron (Francie), Sr. M. Veronica Robert, O.Carm. – “Sr. Bev”, Kevin (Deidre) Bien and Amy (Vince) Rahnfeld. Dear grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 17. Sister of Martha (the late Mike) Houser, Anita Otten and the late Jeanette (Frank) Nunn. Long-time member of St. Vincent de Paul, selfless volunteer and philanthropist. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and very close friend Bob Barbara, Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at age 84. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, Sunday 4-6:30 p.m. and at St. Vivian Church, 7600 Winton Rd., Finneytown, Monday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, 600 Woods Rd., Germantown, NY 12526, or Robert Rahe Mattress Fund of St. Vincent De Paul.
