“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

                                                          Philippians 4:13

Tammy Campbell Bostick was a loving daughter, a caring sister, a devoted wife and unquestionably a great mother. Her beauty, charm and intelligence were matched equally by her kind and gentle spirit, limitless compassion, understanding and forgiving nature and selfless generosity.   Through all the ups and downs, the trials and tribulations that life on this earth brings our way, Tammy’s deep and enduring faith never wavered. She was a true child of God.

Tammy was born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, the only daughter of George and Barbara Campbell. A hardworking and gifted student, she earned a four-year scholarship to Kentucky Wesleyan College and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Education. She was an outstanding early elementary school teacher, passionate about igniting the love of learning in young minds in ways that recognized and celebrated the uniqueness of every child. She taught in Norwood Public Schools from 1987–1994, where she received numerous Teacher of The Year honors, and spent the rest of her teaching career as an early childhood educator in private parochial schools in Butler County.

On August 15, 1986, Tammy married Roger, the one and only love of her life. They were a beautiful, fun-loving young couple, the perfect combination of complimentary opposites, forged together by an unbreakable commitment to each other and their family. Their union gave this world four smart, caring and talented young people whose strong values, sense of purpose and staunch faith are a testament to a mother who loved them fiercely and unconditionally. They were her reason for being. Every day, in every way she gave selflessly of herself to make their lives better. They are her greatest legacy.

Among the angels waiting to welcome Tammy to her Heavenly home are her mother, grandparents and mother and father-in-law. Left to cherish her memory forever are her husband of 31 years, Roger; her daughters, Katelyn and Campbell, and sons, Benjamin and Blake; her father, George Campbell, and her brother, Jeff Campbell and his family; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, Kappa Delta sisters and so very many dear friends. The family wants to thank the staff at Hospice of Butler and Warren County for their compassionate care of Tammy on her final journey home.

A Celebration of Tammy’s life will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Hodapp Funeral Home at 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Ohio. Visitation with family will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., followed immediately by a memorial service for family and friends. A private interment service will be held at Memorial Gardens in Owensboro, Kentucky on Saturday, August 25, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charitable organization of your choice.
