Tex Zimmel

Tex E. Zimmel, 75, passed away peacefully July 6th, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born on January 22, 1941 and grew up in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Following his high school graduation he entered the United States Navy serving a 4 year term. In 1970 he graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Architecture. He followed his passion building custom homes in the Greater Cincinnati area for over 30 years. He enjoyed skiing, cards, golf and time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his devoted partner of 16 years Catherine Brown, sister Bonnie Shough and daughter Dana Zimmel. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Hospice of Cincinnati. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester, OH 45069, on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 1 pm until time of memorial service at 2 pm.
