Theodore "Ted" Runck

RUNCK, Theodore A. “Ted” Devoted husband of Nancy M. Runck (nee Mofford) for 50 years. Loving father of Amy (Bruce) Mayer. Dear grandfather of Emily Mayer. Brother of Barbara (Larry) Hoover, Martha (Forrest) Whitescarver and Susan (Jack) Binns. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away March 2, 2010, age 75. Ted retired after more than 25 years of service from Federated Department Stores, now Macy’s Bloomingdale, as Risk Manager. He was also a proud graduate of Miami University. Ted was honored by the Cincinnati Golf Association as “White Hat of the Year” in 2005 for all of his dedicated volunteer work. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42), West Chester, on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Masonic and Scottish Rite service at 7:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Memorials may be directed to the Kidney Foundation of Greater Cincinnati 2200 Victory Parkway, Suite 510 Cincinnati, OH 45206.
