Theresa Elizabeth Munafo, 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 9, 2018.

Theresa was blessed with a large and loving family. Devoted wife to the late Nicholas Munafo, Sr., a loving mother to Nicholas (Patricia) Munafo, Jr., Rosalie Munafo Jackson, Christopher Munafo (Melissa Manion), Mark (Cindy) Munafo, John (Linda) Munafo, Stephen (Paula) Munafo, and Maria (Mark) Trimbach. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas Munafo III (Joseph Giugliano), Deborah Henning, Michael (Tricia) Munafo, Christopher (Cori) Munafo, Jr., Marcus (Amber Ivans) Munafo, John (Jennifer) Munafo, Amy (Frank) Johnson, Anthony (Heather) Munafo, James Munafo, Andrew Munafo (Fabiola Barrera), Matthew (Kimberly) Munafo, JoAnna (Andrew) Schroeder, Jessica Munafo, Kenneth (Rebekah) Trimbach, Nathan (Cameron) Munafo, Valerie (Lucas) Talkers, Justin (Erin) Munafo, Theresa (Christopher) Shifflett, Gabrielle Munafo, Joseph Trimbach, Stephen Munafo, and Thomas Trimbach. Adoring great-grandmother to Alexis Munafo, Regan Flory, Jacob Munafo, Ryanne Flory, Noah Henning, Landen Munafo, Brooklyn Munafo, Jiles Munafo, Caleb Munafo, Taylor Munafo, C.J. Munafo, Roman Munafo, Alan Johnson, Carter Johnson, Austin Munafo, Olivia Munafo, Arianna Munafo, Maddox Munafo, Maria Munafo, Elizabeth Munafo, Kaitlyn Munafo, Mallory Munafo, Victoria Munafo, Jacqueline Schroeder, Cordelia Talkers, Beatrice Talkers, Abigail Trimbach, and Elizabeth Trimbach. Also survived by sister, Virginia Roy and predeceased by siblings: Mary Katherine, Dorothy, William, Charles, Daniel, and Robert.

Theresa was known for her love of St. Gabriel’s Church and her generous support of its societies. Her devotion, love of family, friends, and faith, and commitment to see good in all were an inspiration and example to all who knew her. Mom, Grandma, friend, and mentor, there are not enough words to describe how much we will miss you, but your memory will live on forever in our hearts, thoughts, and souls.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 13, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 8:30 AM, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011. She will be buried in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati (hospiceofcincinnati.org).
