Thomas A. Mandrackie

May 25, 1961 — June 10, 2020

Thomas Andrew Mandrackie passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  He was born May 25, 1961, in Englewood, New Jersey, the youngest son of Andrew Mandrackie and Helen Dobson Mandrackie.

He is survived by the love of his life Cheryl Semones Mandrackie, stepsons Joe Taylor, Chris (Judy) Taylor, Brendan (Becky) Taylor, and Ryan (Kate) Taylor, and grandchildren Marissa, Kenna,  Aidan, Hannah, Claddagh, and Rowan.  Also surviving are brothers Steven Mandrackie of Flanders, New Jersey, and Andrew Mandrackie of Wilmington, Delaware, and nieces and nephews.

Tom and Cheryl met as Revolutionary War re-enactors in Prescott, Ontario, in July 1989.  They were married February 17, 1990, and this year celebrated 30 years of marriage.

He was a faithful Catholic and a Benedictine Oblate of Saint Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana.

His passion in life was music and he loved singing karaoke with friends, performing onstage, and impersonating Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper.  He was a songwriter and played multiple instruments.

He was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and New York Rangers.  He also loved history and was a Revolutionary War and Civil War re-enactor.

Tom’s life will be celebrated on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 5 to 7:30 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Battlefield Trust or to your favorite charity.
