Thomas Carroll, Sr.

CARROLL, Thomas, Sr. (Tom), went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, May 26th. He was surrounded by his wife Rose Jean (of 60 years), his daughter Gina Birkofer (Greg), his son Tommy Carroll, Jr. (Sharon), and his baby daughter Mary Ann Vincent (Brian). Tom left 9 grandchildren: Brittany, Tommy III (Kelli) and Tony Carroll, Matthew (Amanda), Nicholas, Adam and Jennifer Birkofer, Jonathan and Emma Vincent. He left 5 great-grandchildren: Brooke Birkofer, Tyler Brown, Hannah, Lynn and Abby Sterwerf, Kelsey and McKenna Carroll. He also leaves behind his sisters Pat Dourson (the late Leonard) and Joan Tassett (Tom), his brother-in-law Dan Fiasco (Shirlene) and many nieces and nephews. Tom served in the U.S. Navy. He never knew a stranger. Tom donated his body to UC Medical Center. Family will receive friends Saturday, June 3, 2017, at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd., Finneytown, from 10 a.m. until Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow Mass at the Krumpe Center on the church grounds. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
