Thomas D. Mason

Beloved son of the late Thomas and Ruth (nee Zerges) Mason, loving brother of Dianne Berger (Joseph) and Timothy Mason (Mike Hulme), caring uncle to Michael Stehlin (late Catherine), Marc Stehlin (Monica Villaboy), Julie Mason (Scott) Jenny Stehlin (Todd Overbeck), great uncle to Oscar and Clara Stehlin and Talon Mason.  Tom was a teacher and counselor at Elder High Scholl for forty years.  He was proud he never had a sick day since grade school.  Perfect attendance in high school, college, graduate college and forty perfect years at Elder High School and not even one personal day.  He was the swimming coach, coordinator for the scholarship committee and the food and toy drive.  He was a volunteer at a local Public Radio Station WMKV.

He passed away on October 31, 2021 at age 82. Tom donated his body to U.C. College of Medicine.  Celebration of Life Mass on Friday November 26 at Elder High School Schaeper Center at 11 AM.  Reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elder High School or Cystic Fibrosis.  Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com
