Thomas Nelson Thinnes

Thomas Nelson Thinnes, age 67, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Proud son of the late Louise Drier Thinnes and Nelson “Bud” Thinnes, brother of the late Michael Thinnes. He is survived by his wife Ann Harvey Thinnes, son Alex (Mindi) Thinnes, daughters Lynn Thinnes and Emily (Joshua) Mutchnick, grandchildren Hugh and Alana Thinnes and siblings Vicki (Ed) Gregory and David (Sue) Thinnes.
A graduate of North College Hill High School and Miami University School of Business. He was a Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services, a devout Freemason, a 33 Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Chairman of the popular Breakfast Lecture Series at the Cincinnati Masonic Center, past Worshipful Master at Western Hills Cheviot Lodge # 140, youth softball and basketball coach in the Three Rivers School District.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thomas Thinnes Cheviot Western Hills Scholarship Fund. Please write your check to the Valley of Cincinnati Foundation designated for Thomas Thinnes, 317 East 5th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, or any other educational foundation or organization.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Covenant First Presbyterian Church, 717 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202 starting at 11 am; followed by a luncheon at the Cincinnati Masonic Center, 317 East 5th Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45202. Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com
