Thomas Paul Jordan of Lockland, Ohio passed away October 24, 2021. Paul was born on January 23, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Paul was the son of Thomas Carroll Jordan and Mary Frances Jordan, nee Miller. Paul spent several of his earlier years growing up in Washington, Indiana, before returning to Cincinnati and attending Hartwell High School. Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Armel, nee Jordan. He is survived by his daughter Susan Marie Chain, nee Jordan; by his grandchildren Jessica Jordan Whitmore, nee Chain, and Christopher Samuel Chain; and by his two beloved great-grandchildren Charlotte Jordan Whitmore and Clifton James Whitmore. Paul is also survived by his nephews Pete Calderon, Paul Calderon and Hugh Armel.
Paul served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. For many years he worked for and eventually retired from Celotex, formerly known as Phillip Carey, in Lockland, Ohio.
Paul enjoyed engaging in wood projects and doing yard work. He was a completely reliable and tireless source of assistance whenever something needed to be built or repaired. Paul also had a life-long interest in cars, both old and new.
Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage, 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45216, on Saturday October 30,2021 from 9:30 until time of Funeral Service at 10:30. Internment following the Funeral Service at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio. A light lunch will follow at West Chester Presbyterian Church in West Chester, Ohio. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, consideration be made to making a donation to the American Lung Association.
