JAMES TIMOTHY JONES
Tim Jones of West Chester Ohio was born on June 24, 1955 in Toledo Ohio and passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2014. Tim was 59 years old. In life, Tim was appreciated for his engaging personality, and always upbeat approach to life. Tim was an avid golfer, well known at the “Elk’s” golf course, an active member and former Vice-President of Queen City Mustangers, and an ardent Lake Erie fisherman. However, Tim’s most cherished roles were husband to Debbie, father to Michael and adoring grandfather. In addition to wife Debbie Jones (nee Walker), son Michael (Maria) Jones, grandchildren Logan, Julia and Elise Jones, he is survived by father Ralph Jones, sister Lynn (Jeff) Alvanos, nephews Ryan (Stephanie) Alvanos and Matthew (Ashley) Alvanos, great nephew Martin Alvanos and parents in law Richard and Dorothy Walker. Tim was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Jones. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4th, at the Hamilton Elks Lodge #93, 4444 Hamilton-Middleton Road, Hamilton Ohio 45011. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 A.M with a service beginning at 11:00 and a luncheon reception following. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton Elks Tree Fund 4444 Hamilton-Middleton Road, Hamilton Ohio 45011 or the American Heart Association.
