Traci A. Noonan

June 17, 1959 — April 15, 2025

Traci A. Noonan, born on June 17, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, surrounded by her family after an eight-month battle with cancer. Traci’s journey through life was marked by a profound love for her family and an indomitable spirit that inspired all who knew her.

As a graduate of McAuley High School in 1977, Traci shaped her career by embracing various roles that best met the needs of her beloved family. Later in life, her heart was drawn to charitable endeavors, where she found her true calling. She devoted much of her time to OneSight, a charitable organization dedicated to providing critical eye care to those in need, and volunteered with the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Her dedication to these causes was a true reflection of her selflessness and compassion.

Traci's personality was as vibrant as her laughter, which could light up any room. She possessed a great sense of humor and a cheerful disposition that endeared her to many. Known for her unwavering positive attitude, she approached each challenge with grace, never turning down a request for help. Her kindness was immeasurable, and she was always ready to lend a hand or an ear.

Throughout her life, Traci celebrated her family with joy and pride. Among her proudest accomplishments were her roles as a devoted wife to Jerry Noonan, and as a loving mother to her three sons, Matt, Ryan, and Kevin Noonan. Nothing delighted Traci more than witnessing her son Ryan flourish, defying challenges presented by his disability. She poured her heart into supporting those with special needs, earning recognition from the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities for her exceptional dedication.

Traci was also a passionate fan of the Cincinnati Reds, proudly participating in the Rosie Reds fan organization. Theater at the Aronoff Center brought her immense joy, and she cherished going to performances with her beloved sisters. Adventure called to her through travel as she explored the beauty of National Parks alongside her family, fostering memories that would last a lifetime.

Even in her final months, as she faced the challenges of her illness, Traci never lost sight of the blessings in her life. She expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support she received from friends and family near and far. In her own reflective words, Traci shared that she had never felt more loved than she did during this time.

Traci is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Noonan; her sons, Matt, Ryan, and Kevin Noonan; her sisters, Peggy (Kelly) Finnerty, Erin Carroll, and Tricia (John) Metzner; her brothers, Kerry (Donna) Carroll, Kevin (Melinda) Carroll, Dan (Robin) Carroll, D. Michael Carroll, and Tim (Jenn) Carroll; as well as her brothers-in-law, Dan Noonan and Rick (Nancy) Noonan, and sister-in-law, Nancy Baarendse.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Carroll; her mother, Vivian Carroll (née Horton); her stepmother, Rita Carroll; her brothers, Mark Carroll and Jeff Carroll; and her brother-in-law Bruce Baarendse.

Traci's legacy of love, kindness, and joyous spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind a world forever changed for the better by her presence, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Traci.
