Trudy Robertson

Gertrude “Trudy” Frees, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, November 5, 2013, age 88. Originally from Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Magdalena (Knoechel) and Edward Frees. Loving wife of the late Robert C. Robertson. Cherished mother to Janet (the late Mac) Holder, Nancy (Craig) Smith, Vicki (Tom) Kemme, Donna Shepard and the late Joyce Goetz and mother-in-law to Harry Goetz. Sister of Madeline Frech and Richard Frees and the late Augusta Irvin and William Frees. Sister-in-law of the late Albert Tower Robertson and the late Virginia (Robertson) Dowd. Loving godmother to Robin Mueller. Beloved grandmother to Dan (Kim) Cronin, Rob (Lori) Cronin, Jamie (Amy) Howson, Lori Howson, Jenny Kemme, Sarah Kemme, Stephanie Shepard and Megan Shepard. Great-grandmother to Casey Cronin, Ashleigh Cronin, Barrett Howson, Connor Cronin, Alexandra Cronin and Bailey Howson. Also survived by many neices and nephews. Long-time member of Matthew United Church of Christ. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, Saturday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 12 noon.
